SOUTH JERSEY SHOOTING CLUBS 2008 HIGH POWER MATCH TORNAMENT SCHEDULE.

TOUNAMENT DATES:        APR 20TH, MAY 18TH, JUNE 15TH, JULY 20TH, AUG 17TH, SEPT 21

COMPETITION:                    NRA APPROVED 800 agg. Competition, Open to all NRA members.   

CLASSIFICATION:               NRA Classification or temporary score book.

RULES:                                  Current NRA HIGH POWER RULES will govern.

RIFLES:                                  NRA MATCH RIFLE (rule3.3) or SERVICE RIFLE (rules3.1, 3.1.1).

CATEGORIES:                      MATCH RIFLE & SERVICE RIFLE: A minimum of 5 shooters to form a                                                                class/category. Classes and/or categories will be combined if there are                                                   insufficient shooters.

AWARDS:                              Match winner award will be given for the highest aggregate in each match Place awards will be given in each class/category with a minimum of 5shooters For each additional 5 shooters in a class/category an additional award will be given  No shooter may win more then one award in each match.

ENTRIES:                               Entry Fee $20.00. Juniors(under 21)$10.00. Checks payable to Shayne Simcox                                          NO ENTRIES BY  TELEPHONE.

POST ENTRIES:                    From 0800 to 0845 day of tournament up to range limit.

CHECK IN:                            All shooters are required to check in at the STAT OFFICE for squadding. Those                                                        shooters not checked in by 0845 will be squatted in any openings until the last                                                       relay is called up.                                                                                            

SQUADDING:                       At stat office commencing 0800. NO PREPAID ENTRIES. Range limit of first 20                                            paid shooters.

CHALLENGES:                     $2.00 per challenge lost.

   COURSE OF FIRE:   Match will begin with a 5 min. period

Match #1 SR-Target,200 yds, Slow fire-20 shots for record standing. Time limit-20 mins.

Match #2 SR-Target, 200 yds, rapid fire-two 10 shot strings, Sitting or Kneeling from standing. Time limit-60 seconds each string.

Match #3 SR-42 target, 200 yds, rapid fire-two 10 shot strings, prone from standing. time limit-70 seconds each string

Match #4 MR-52 target, 200 yds, slow fire -20shots for record prone. Time limit-20 mins.
